The RMZ Ball Check Union is an essential equipment in term of overall safety. It is situated directly under the Grease Injection Head (GIH). Its function is to automatically shut off the well if the cable should be pulled off the tool and the cable blown out of the hole.
The Ball Check Union is designed so that the ball is kept away from the cable in normal operations but is unseated and forced up by the velocity of escaping fluid.
The greater the well pressure, the tighter the seal will be. Ball Check Union can be integrated with Tool Catcher to reduce the overall height of the stack assembly.
Features:
• Working Pressure rating of 5,000, 10,000 & 15,000 psi available.
• Service: available for both Sour and Standard service.
